The NJIT Makerspace
The NJIT Makerspace is a significant effort to prepare future multidisciplinary STEM employees for the purposes of innovation, invention and production. As a designated space, it enables and inspires both students and faculty to engage in hands-on teaching and learning.

NJIT's Makerspace creates the ecosystem for students to participate in the innovation, invention, and product realization processes that American industry depends on, as well as assign space for public and private partnerships to emerge--offering access to an array of state-of-the-art equipment for design, prototyping, testing, and research.
